Frequently Asked Questions

Zero E Australia represents a portfolio of large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar farms and battery energy storage systems across Australia. These projects are designed to generate clean electricity and support the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future.

Zero E Australiaincludes major solar farm developments such as Strontian Solar Farm in New South Wales, and Everleigh and Moranbah Solar Farms in Queensland. Each project integrates solar photovoltaic (PV) technology with battery energy storage to provide reliable and renewable power to the grid.

These projects contribute to local communities by creating jobs during construction and operation, supporting local businesses, and generating clean energy that powers homes while reducing carbon emissions. They also engage with communities throughout planning and development to ensure transparency and positive local impact.

A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) stores excess energy generated by solar panels and releases it when needed. This helps stabilize the electricity grid, ensures a reliable power supply, and maximizes the efficiency of renewable energy generation.

Most Zero E Australia projects are currently in development or pre-construction stages. Construction is expected to begin around 2026 for several sites, with operations planned shortly after, depending on approvals and grid connection processes.
